Elyse's Trip to Thailand: November 2006

My New Family~

Hello Everyone,
wow so i firstly have to say, i feel at home for first time, since my first family. this family is so great. I live next door to katie wich is pretty cool i mean we can hangout and go running together. my Family has a pool, but the village has its own too, very big. I have 2 younger brothers, Card 7 and Bhat 12, and a couzin who stays at the house May14. my host dad is rotarian and they own thier own business, Phuket offset printing. they own two stores one in phuket town and another in Kathu. My family has 7 dogs, 6 are golden retrivers, but four are puppies, soo cute!. I love this family, ive asked to stay longer and i think i can. i Share a room with my sister/cousin. Last night i made dinner for them, spaghetti. it was soo good too:D. this weekend we might be goin to Phi phi Island. Every Sunday with this family is family day, the shop is closed so they go on some day trips around phuket, my little brother card loves fishing so we might do that. Actually last night my little brother went to the hospital, he was sick, im told hes okay but i dont really know what happened. my family only speaks a little english but that doesnt matter my thai is very good now. Tonight i have rotary, and im finally doing my speech on canada, and i will say it all in thai! aha Right now im in school, i dont have class so im killing time on the computer. to sum up how i feel right now, i am extremely happy and i love thailand that much more!
The other day i found out that theres a college here in phuket that i can study hotel managment, so i dont have to go to huaHin anymore, i was really discouraged about moving off phuket but now i can stay so im am super happy, hmmm i think this is the first time mentioning on here, but the past few months ive been thinking seriously of coming back to phuket a year after i return to canada, and study in thailand. i can continue learning thai and also get my education for a 3rd of the price i would pay in canada. My course is in english so i have no problem in that department. Living in thailand is quite cheap especially for a studnet. i am very serious about this, and its something i really want to do.

The news goin on lately;

Hey Everyone, hope ya loved the pictures!
So some stuff thats been goin on with me lately is... i finally got my laptop back, i started back in school, new semester and everything! great to see my friends again, i got sick for 3 days, but im okay now, im movin'g to a new family tmr for10days, then im goin to adjan suanswri's family for the rest of my year! there was loi gratong festival on the 5th, so me and aam went it was fun, but it also rained so that suckd, candles didnt stay lit long, but it was pretty! so today ive been busy packin emailing, and updating this blog, so u wont complain anymore haha. anyway thats all for right now,
