Hi Elyse:
Glad to see you back on-line again. Sorry to hear you got sick and had to miss the meditation at the temple. Sounds a little scary the way it happened but you are OK now and thats good. Glad you finally got your laptop back too. That will make you life a lot easier.

We are good here and seem to be having our own monsoons on the wet coast, even some river flooding in the area.

Christmas will be a lot different for you this year. Are there any or many Christians there or pretty well all Buddhists. Will there be a Christmas celebration of any kind in Thailand?

Great photos; keep 'em coming.

Hi Elyse:
Yes, it will be a lot different for sure. When Aunt Diane & I went to Mexico in Dec. 2004, just days before Christmas, it seemed so strange. As you know, Mexicans are primarily Roman Catholic, so we were surrounded with all the symbols of Christmas and there were even Styrofoam and papermaché snowmen on the Church grounds, but with the temperature around 30 C. it was hard to get into the Christmas mood.

Anyway, keep having fun and keep up the postings. We love reading all about everything you are doing.
