Day 38 of Phuket
Hello everyone!! so today is Friday, i went to school, had my usual friday classes, today we got a letter saying for the next two weeks we get out at 3 everyday, which im pummped because i hate being there till 5! after school a bunch of us from my class oak pui koon waan and a few others got some thai noodles and went to friday for some drinks!! then i went home at got ready for the big surprise party. so i got to maimon(a seafood/kareoke restraunt), and about 20 out of the 44 in my class were there, everyone was late showing, oak came at 630(not everyone was even there yet) but he was really surprised:) he had no ideaa:P. so we all busted in to the kareoke and never ending photoshoot, it was so much fun, first time with my whole class outside of school!! after a little bit of kareoke we ate supper, did alot more kareoke, then it was time for the teachers speaches and some of his closest friends to say a few words, this was the saddest partt :(, i said a little speach to him of course he was upset and even me too, his best friend said a few words, oh god it was so sad!!! im really gonna miss him:(:( we all sang a few sad songs after that and it didnt really help, but it was truly a moment none of us will ever forget! after that the teachers left, and this is where the partyyy went wild, i was on the table dancing and singing with oak and everyone, haha so much fun. it settled down after a few more dance songs, then we were all saying bye to oak, we all left around like 11;30 ish, ill miss him like crazy, he helped me alot here in thailand, and it wont be the same without home:(:(:( after the party i had to pack like crazy, because im moving in the morning, after that i jus went to bed!

hey siobhann!! hmm well the culture, is very different, they dont really show enotion, when u greet some1 u hold your hands like your praying( its called the "wai") and say hello"sawatde-ka(women)-krup(men) when i first got here i tryd shaking peoples hands and stuff and nobody knew what i was doing. like at school, when i was introduced to people in my class i tryed to shaked thier hands, they looked at me funny, and one guy turned really red when i did, you usualy dont touch a guys hund unless your dating him. so oak finally told me to not do it and jus say hello. like i really miss hugging some1 when i see them:( umm as for the food its awesome, very spicy ,and in thailand they have more than one banana, one u bake it, another is is very small, like a fake one or something, and another is green, and one that looks like ours but a bit smaller, theres alot more that i havnt seen , but ill take pictures so u can see!! and oranges here arnt orange, thier green on the outside!! haha but orange on the inside. driving, everywhere these little scooter motorcycles, and the drives is on the right side, instead of the left. and as for the roads too
its backwards, like england!! anything more jus askk, misssss you too!!:(
